Stand Out at Any Festival & Outdoor Event with Custom Feather Flags

If you are organising a festival or taking part in an outdoor event, feather flags are a great way to grab attention, showcase your brand, guide footfall and promote offers or other announcements. They are easy to transport and set up and offer a great eye-catching display that helps you stand out in busy, high-traffic areas.

What Are Feather Flags & Why Are They Effective?

Feather flags are tall vertical banners specifically designed to flow with the wind and stand out at festivals and other outdoor events and spaces.

Due to their height and shape, they are easy to spot in crowded areas, making them a popular choice for festivals, markets, exhibitions, retail and sports spaces.

They can be used to promote a business, mark an event entrance, direct attendees to specific areas or highlight food stalls, sponsor zones or performances at outdoor events/festivals.

Benefits of Using Feather Flags for Festivals & Events

Visibility is crucial when managing outdoor events or festivals. With large crowds, competing colours and constant distractions, feather flags help cut through the noise and grab attention. They're lightweight, quick to set up and don’t take up much space, making them ideal for busy event environments.

Key benefits include:

  • High visibility – stands out even in crowded or high-traffic areas
  • Compact footprint – effective signage without needing much space
  • Lightweight and portable – easy to move, store and transport
  • Quick and simple assembly – no tools required
  • Fully customisable – match your brand, message or event theme
  • Weather-resistant – suitable for outdoor use in varying conditions
  • Versatile – ideal for festivals, markets, sports events and retail promotions

Feather Flag Customisation

At Secprint, our feather flags can be customised to suit your branding and message. They’re available in a range of sizes to fit any event space, with a choice of pole, spike or base to suit different ground types, whether you’re setting up on grass, concrete or something in between.

Flags can be printed single- or double-sided using your own artwork, or with help from our experienced design team, who will make sure everything is clear, sharp and ready for print.

Whether it's a festival, corporate function, sports day or local fair, feather flags can be fully customised to suit the event space, audience and message.

Choosing the Right Feather Flag

Before ordering feather flags, it’s important to consider where and how they will be used. For example, at events or festivals where the flag will be placed on grass, soil or sand, a ground spike is usually the best option to keep it secure.

Where an event is taking place on a harder surface such as concrete, a 20L standard water base or a 30L tyre base would be the more suitable choice. The 30L option is particularly useful in windy environments, offering added stability when positioned under a vehicle wheel.

It’s also worth considering the size of the feather flag and how far it needs to be seen from. Larger flags offer more space for your message and are ideal for big outdoor events, or festivals, where visibility from a distance is key. For smaller events or more compact spaces, a small or medium flag may be more appropriate to avoid overpowering the area while still making an impact.
