Secprint Becomes a FWD Motion Company

We’re thrilled to announce that Secprint is now a FWD Motion company!

Secprint was established in Rotherham in 1996 by Brian Terry. At this time, we primarily sold event tickets and paper wristbands. In the late '90s, we had the pleasure of printing concert and festival tickets for well-known artists such as Green Day, James, Marilyn Manson, and The Fall.

In the years after, we continued to print quality tickets for boxing events, festivals, and local football clubs including Sheffield Wednesday, Chesterfield, and Rotherham United. We also expanded our product range – now we print an extensive variety of event security products, promotional print, office stationery, and large-format signage.

The natural progression for us recently was to join FWD Motion. FWD Motion is a full-service creative agency co-directed by Mike Priestley and David Whiteley. When Mike graduated with a design degree from Loughborough University, his first position was here, at Secprint, as a designer and print setter. He even designed our first logo!

Mike was actually our third employee, and some of his favourite jobs were setting tickets for the Ministry of Sound, as well as Paul Weller’s concert at Finsbury Park in 1996. The natural synergy between our two businesses coupled with the history we’ve shared made the decision to buy Secprint from Brian a natural business progression for FWD.

Who is FWD Motion?

FWD Motion is a Sheffield-based design agency with over 18 years of experience helping businesses create, develop, animate, or boost their brand through visually engaging solutions. They have an expert team of designers, illustrators, animators, marketeers, and web developers.

Like Secprint, part of the services FWD Motion offers includes their own in-house large-format printing of window vinyl, wallpaper, feather flags, exhibition stands, and much more. They will also design and install reception graphics, office branding, and retail shop fit-outs.

It’s clear that, together, we can provide businesses with an extraordinary design and print service, including all our trusted Secprint range, as well as exceptional graphic design, web development, content creation, and digital marketing services.

The next steps

We are excited about the next steps for Secprint as a FWD Motion company – we know we are in safe hands with Mike and the whole FWD team. Since the merge, we’ve launched our new website, taken on new clients, and are continuously expanding our product range.

Don’t worry – Secprint is keeping its name, and you are keeping us. There will be no immediate changes to our operations, and you can still order your favourite Secprint products either online or over the phone.
